Congratulations, We’re Moving to Fort Bragg

One of the downsides to moving every two years is that, well, we have to move every two years. One of the upsides is getting to experience different areas of our great country. Of course, to many there is a perception that the government doesn’t always choose the most desirable places to park its military bases. Without knowing more, many families let out a gasp of disappointment when they hear the words, “we’re moving to Fort Bragg.”

Like most adventures, however, beauty and joy are always there. You might just have to look a bit harder. Or, you might have to get up really early in the morning. Sometimes you don’t find what you’re looking for unless it’s illuminated by the first light of day.

We’re excited to show you our latest gallery, “A Sandhills Morning,” shot over two days in beautiful Moore County, North Carolina, part of the Sandhills area. The Sandhills have a lot to offer. Besides its golf, quaint towns, excellent spas, antique shops, and variety of restaurants, it also provides the hidden details you wouldn’t necessarily find unless you’re open to finding them. My favorite so far has been discovering the countryside. The peace and tranquility of a spring morning in the Sandhills is a special gift only to be discovered by those who venture out before sunrise.

So, our life has once again brought us to North Carolina, which in many respects has become our second home. In the midst of the chaos, relish the peace that is out there if you only look around.
